Show and tell for agents without switching windows

Use the same screenshot shortcut, add a note, and it lands in your agent’s session while it works. Answers come back as notifications.

Feels like part of your Mac

It keeps everything you already know about screenshots, and adds one thing: a way to hand the right one to your agent with a sentence attached.

Same keys, same Desktop

Press ⇧⌘4 and pick an area, as always. The shot saves to your Desktop and slides into the corner.

Click it, say what you mean

Click a shot and it opens in the middle of your screen with a note box. Type a line, press Return.

Your agent sees it right away

Each shot arrives in your agent’s session while it works or waits, and it looks at the image itself.

Answers arrive as notifications

When your agent replies, your Mac tells you. Reply straight from the notification, or open the conversation.

Pin, copy, drag

Pin the corner stack to keep collecting. Right after a shot, ⇧⌘R turns it into a message and ⇧⌘C copies it. Or drag it into anything that takes a file.

Private, and signed as you

Shots are encrypted on your Mac before they leave it, and signed so your agent knows they came from you.

Set up Claude in one click

Open Settings and choose Connect Claude Code, for the terminal and the Claude desktop app’s Code tab. For the desktop app’s Chat tab, choose Add Extension.

Then paste your agent link into Claude. In Claude Code, every shot you send turns up with your note while Claude works or waits; in a chat, Claude sees new shots each time you write.

Questions

Does it replace macOS screenshots?

Only the shortcut you choose. Pick ⇧⌘4 and Screenshot.fm takes it over while it runs; quit and macOS gets it back. Shots still save to your Desktop, or any folder you pick.

Does every screenshot go to my agent?

No. Shots only go when you click one and press Send, or when you turn on “Prompt for agent notes on all shots”.

Who can see my screenshots?

Your agent, and any device you’ve paired. They travel over wwwave, encrypted on your Mac with a key that lives only in your session’s links, so the service in between can’t open them.

Which agents does it work with?

Claude Code in the terminal, in the Claude desktop app’s Code tab and in editors, and the desktop app’s Chat tab. Any agent that can run the wwwave bridge can follow a session.

What does it cost?

Nothing during the beta.
